Lodge Manufacturing Field Trip

As a little change of pace, I thought it would be fun to take you on a field trip to Lodge Manufacturing in South Pittsburg, TN.  Lodge Manufacturing has been making cast iron cookware since 1896.  The family owned and operated company is the only one in the United States still producing cast iron cookware in the country.

    Wow, a lot of work goes into those cast iron skillets. I have a cast iron skillet and I just recently bought the cast iron corn stick pan. My kids love the corn sticks- they are the perfect size for little hands.
