Happy Memorial Day! It seems appropriate for this first post to take place on the official start of grilling season. After all, grilling, barbecuing and eating meat are among my favorite things to do.
Today is bittersweet however. We’ve been at war for over a decade with many lives lost. I thank all our servicemen – past, present, and future for preserving our freedom to live our lives. Take time today to think about how blessed we are to live in this country. Go to a parade, visit a cemetery, thank a soldier. Remember those who have gone before you.
